Im BACK!

Helloo, long time no blog you could say!
I've decided to bring this blog back into action!
As well as writing for WAT I'll be keeping you all up to date here with my ramblings and thoughts. I know, I know... I am unbelievably kind.
I will keep this one short and sweet but I'll return with more asap.
Love ♥

2010.

Hello you lot. That’s it Christmas is over. *if you blinked you missed it* Did you enjoy it? I hope so, as I bloody did! I was a lucky girl with all my pressies. Including Uggs, makeup, perfume, a gorgeous RIST watch from the lovely girls here at WAT! I also got Holly Willoughby’s coin necklace, that I have been searching everywhere for, for over a year! My Sister managed to hunt it down and that proved a fab Christmas day surprise for me!

Now, we’ve all had one too many mince pies and enough booze to sink a cruise-liner. It must mean it’s coming up for the new year… I have to admit I am not a fan of NYE, I find it over egged and a let-down *a NYE bah humbug if you will*. I do however, love a good look back at the year around about this time *that will be blog number 2* and I have to say 2010 hasn’t been a bad year at all! Of course it has had its ups and downs for us all, but all in all for me it’s been pretty good! Starting writing my own blog, twitter ramblings (and bloody lush tweeps) and then for WAT have been great perks to ’10 obvs!

So here’s hoping to an even better year in 2011 for every-one of us!

Happy New Year Peeps!!

Love, Me. x ♥

Help This Christmas...

Help This Christmas...
What could be more heartbreaking this winter than a homeless dog or a lonely kitty? Unfortunately this is the situation that a lot of pets are going to be finding themselves in this winter. If someone doesn't help them...
Hornchurch Animal Rescue and Rehoming are a non - profitable charity that do their very best to help as many animals; big or small, through the busiest time of the year.
Not only would all of us here at WAT like to remind you - a pet is for life not just for a surprise on Christmas morning. (As lovely as that is if you are serious!) But also that you can HELP these animals.
We all shop online and even more so at this time of the year don't we? So why not raise money at the sametime?? The BEST part of this idea is - it's not even your own money that you will be donating to the charity! It will be the company that you are shopping from that will be donating a % of what you spend to them! PERFECT.
All you need to do is register~free~ at http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/Register/?char=34073 making sure you select 'Hornchurch Animal Rescue and Rehoming' as your cause! Then... just go ahead and shop! Follow the links to whichever website you need to buy your stuff
(you're obvs still shopping direct with your fav stores online but by using the link on easyfundraising it just makes sure they donate from your purchase peeps!)
I know first hand the fantastic and personal work that this charity does as my own little furry was a rescue.
Daisy my terrier was found cold, hungry, scared and almost bald on the streets two Christmas's ago, she was found by a local dog pound, kept for a limited amount of time before she became next in line to be put to sleep for no reason other than she had no-one to love her. Luckily Daisy (who had no name at the time, obviously) was taken away from there and that's when I adopted her. Now writing this blog with her snoring next to me, looking like a completely different dog (that is her in the picture above believe it or not!) I couldn't imagine life without her!!!
So, PLEASE help donate or maybe even consider (seriously) giving a forever home to a lonely animal this Christmas.

I HEART Hollywood &hearts

'Angela Clark can't believe her luck...she's living in New York with a dream job and a sexy boyfriend
Sent to Hollywood to interview hot actor and fellow Brit James Jacobs, she's in at the deep end amid the thin and beautiful of Rodeo Drive. The only person who seems genuine is James, despite his ladykiller reputation. But then the paparazzi catch them together at Chateau Marmont, and Angela finds herself in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons...
Can she convince her boss, her best friend and - most importantly- her boyfriend not to believe all they read in the papers? And will Hollywood ever win Angela's heart?'
♥ ♥ ♥

MMMhmm.. Lindsey Kelk didn't disappoint us ladies! I was just as hooked with 'I heart Hollywood' as I was with New York.
Sometimes a character can get dull or boring when in more than one book, not at all with Angela Clark... In I heart Hollywood, she's just as endearing as in the first book. You feel yourself wanting to know what she's going to do next, even what she is going to wear the next day, which bag she'll buy next (I'd take her old Marc Jacobs off her hands~ no problem..really no problem!)
This book is full of fun and laughs~ also a perfect amount of drama, keeping you on the edge of your seat (don't spill your tea!) praying that Angela won't loose gorgeous Alex..
These two books are so easy to read that you actually loose yourself in the pages, you forget its not just your friend telling you the story of her day on the phone!
It lifts your mood and brings you down with a bump at times but that's just what makes it so brilliant, you go along with Angela every step of her Hollywood adventure!
The new town is maybe not quite as cool and sassy as New York but Angela certainly finds the sexy, sunshine state a little place in our hearts by the end..
I love that by the end of Lindsey's books you feel you could actually lead Angela's life or experience the places that she mentions! Lindsey makes it that little bit easier by putting 'Angela's Guide to LA' at the back of the book. A list of the places to be, the bars to drink in and the shops to buzz that credit card in!
Now all I need is to find myself a Jenny Lopez and an Alex then I'm well and truely ♥ sorted.
Next we are off to Paris...and I really cant wait! Let's go Angela!
I HEART Paris.

Dannii Minogue: (adorable) Style Queen.

"Aaaamzinggg!"
..and to be honest, yes she is! I never really warmed to Dannii Minogue until her Piers Morgan interview (even though I could quite happily wedge a stilletoe in his brain..)
Dannii came across as such a sweetheart, completely open & honest in 'that' interview. Then I forgot all about her while she was off being preggers!
When I saw the commercials for her new documentary I can't say I was on the edge of my seat waiting for it to begin...
WELL!
I just caught the first ep and I bloody love her!! She seems absolutely adorable! Whereas Kerry Katona & Katie Price come across fake and car crash telly~ Dannii is likeable, funny and natural on telly!
Her clothes are stunning, her makeup flawless..(little bit jealous there not gonna lie..) won't even mention her gorgeous boyfriend and perfect baby bump. (Actually I am going off her )
Can't wait for the next ep now.
I'm Hooked!

I HEART New York. ♥

Fleeing her cheating boyfriend and cluthing little more than a crumpled bridesmaid dress, a pair of Louboutins and her passport, Angela jumps on a plane-destination NYC.
Holed up in a cute hotel room, Angela gets a New York makeover from her NBF Jenny and a whirlwind tour of the city that never sleeps. Before she knows it, Angela is dating two sexy guys. And, best of all she gets to write about it in her new blog (Carrie Bradshaw eat your heart out).
But it's one thing telling readers about your romantic dilemmas, it's another figuring them out for yourself...
Angela has fallen head over heels for the big apple, but does she heart New York more than Home?

And.... then I was hooked.
I started reading Lindsey Kelk's bestseller 'I heart New York' a few days ago and I am already pretty much finished the book!
It honestly has pretty much everything a girl could want in a book. You actually feel yourself becoming part of the story, you know the characters or you have been the characters~ more than likely both!
Lindsey has a way of writing that is inspiring and addictive. I now want to live in New York and be best friends with Angela and Jenny. (shouldn't be too difficult, right?)
The details of Angela's shopping sprees do make me slightly envious but well a girl can only dream about owning the $900 handbag and perfect wardrobe of clothes!
ALL go out and buy it straight away! I just couldn't hold back from giving you all my first impressions! I actually have not put this book down all morning- reading inbetween phonecalls,, watching This Morning and while I am supposed to be redecorting my bedroom (that'll be a whole other blog don't you worry!!)
I just want to know now does Angela go for Tyler the Banker or Alex the rockstar..To be honest I'd be tempted by both!
